Bulldogs Basketball

Congratulations to the Bulldogs on an incredible 2007 season!

The Bulldogs completed a 6-0 regular season en route to an opening round playoff victory and an appearance in the championship game this past Saturday, March 10.

Once again, the Bulldogs unleashed a tenacious defense that stifled the highly rated offense of their opponent. The Bulldogs found themselves within one point with 14 seconds remaining in the game. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs ended up one basket short from pulling off a miraculous upset.

I would not want to coach any other group of girls than the Bulldogs! I would go into any season and any game at any place, with these girls: Breanna Black, Hannah Brewster, Ashley Faith, Bailey Freeman, Ashley Keel, Katie McKay, Rachel Shumate, Rebecca Shumate, Sabrina Smith, and Mandy Sparkman.

Thank you, girls, for once again inspiring me! Your intensity and the incredible heart you display makes me so proud to know each one of you and your families!

Great job on a 7-1 season!

We fell one step short, but we will be back and we will be better!

Go Bulldogs!
