Historic Turnaround

In what might be the greatest season-to-season turnaround in Bossier Rec Basketball history, the Bulldogs rebounded from a winless regular season campaign in 2006 to a perfect regular season record in 2007.

By winning the final regular season game tonight, the Bulldogs improved to 6-0 and completed a perfect season.

If one word characterizes the Bulldogs' style of play it is "gritty." The girls usually play against bigger (and older) teams. They find themselves playing against some very talented players. Yet the Bulldogs do not back down, and they keep finding ways to win.

The Bulldogs have a chance to add another page to this storybook season when the postseason tournament begins Saturday. It will not be easy, and it will take a monumental effort on the part of the Bulldogs to advance.

But as these girls have already shown: they never back down from a fight.
