Justice

Dear God,

In the Bible you require that we "act justly," yet you allow people in the judicial system to ignore the safety of children.

In the Bible, you paint a picture of "justice flowing like a stream," yet you allow injustice in the court in regard to foster children.

Judges ignore your justice.

Abusive parents mock your concern for children.

Lawyers take no second thought as to what their inaction does to the lives of children.

And I sit and watch.

Not understanding.

Wondering why a judge takes no action to protect children.

Wondering why Louisiana can show such little regard for the protection of children.

Why can a judge in Bossier Parish snub what you desire and still uphold the law?

Just wondering.
