Congrats to Ex-Steeler

Congratulations to Tony Dungy for leading the Colts to the organization's second Super Bowl title.

As a Pittsburgh Steelers fan I was happy to see Dungy win his first Super Bowl. Dungy played for the Steelers in 1977 and 1978. In 1978, he led the Steelers with six interceptions.

In 1981, Coach Noll hired Dungy to be the defensive backs coach for Pittsburgh. He was then promoted to defensive coordinator in 1984 (the youngest ever), a position he held until 1988.

Dungy is more than a good coach. He is a man of God. He is the real deal, not just someone who talks religious jargon, but a man who lives out his faith. During his years with the Steelers he was active in leading Bible studies for Steelers players.

Congratulations, Coach Dungy. Even though you are the coach of the Indianapolis Colts, you will always be a part of the Steeler Nation.
