Faultless?

To quote Jakob Dylan,

Adam took the apple
I was not involved
I'm not responsible
For how lost we are

"Wherefore as by one man sin entered into this world and by sin death; and so death passed upon all men"

"The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upn himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself."

I think there is a confusion between suffering from the result of sin and actually inheriting another person's sin.

Evidently, King Solomon is a Roman Catholic.

Nope, Not a Catholic.
I did not write the BOOK, only read it.
Romans 5:12-on.
14. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

I'm just saying, theres not a baby that can be born that is PERFECT. Perfect in the sense of Adam, and Jesus. At the moment of conception cells are imperfect. They are corrupted, there is not a baby born that could live forever, sadly some do not make it to birth, or live long after birth.
There are many deformities and abnormalities children are born with. This is the result of two imperfect beings procreating. Not a direct result of what sin the parents have committed. Although, there are some STD's that will certainly affect the unborn child, that can cause DEATH.
“Original Sin” is often misunderstood, and one focuses too much on the idea that the infant has SIN on its head, rather than imperfect health and death. Other words, corrupted genetics.

Genesis 2
16. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die." **Adam did not fall over dead at the moment he ate the fruit. So, did God lie? No, at that moment Adam's body became imperfect. Better than what we have now, but imperfect.

Romans 6
23.For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Conclusion:
Because of Adam's sin, he became imperfect, and death became a reality. Adam passed this corruption to all of his descendants. Imperfect beings procreating, and giving birth to imperfect children. Proof, is that Jesus could not have had an Earthly father, or He too would have been flawed. Since He did not have an earthly father, He is the PEFECT unblemished LAMB. Jesus was born without the mark of death on His head, but not us.
