Expecting?

What are you expecting today?

With each day's advent comes a sense of expectation.

Sometimes the expectations are clothed in fear and worry about what bad things will happen today.

Sometimes the expectations are shrouded in joy and eager anticipation about what good things will take place today.

Regardless of the nature of the expectations, we still have expectations each day.

Today, I expect God to work in my life. He may work through some bad things that happen. He may work through some good things. Or, as He is capable of doing, He may work through both.

My choice is to believe that in the good and the bad, God is still working on me, in me, and with me.

May I have the faith to accept this each hour today.
