Thank you, Coach Cowher

In a world of dishonesty, a willingness to win at all costs, and lack of character among professional athletes and coaches, Bill Cowher stood out as a man of honesty, passion, and character.

The reports have surfaced that Coach Cowher will resign as the head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers, a position he has held for the past 15 years. During his tenure Steelers fans have witnessed stability as the team has managed to survive the often devastating effects of free agency.

Thank you Coach Cowher, for your perseverance and commitment to not just winning, but winning the right way.

Coach Cowher leaves behind a 161-99-1 record. He guided the Steelers to 8 division titles, appeared in the AFC championship game 6 times, played in the Super Bowl twice, and won Super Bowl XL. Thanks for guiding the team to 10 playoff berths in your tenure. You will be missed.
